The Miami Valley Bassmasters supports a Junior Club for young bass anglers under the age of eighteen. The junior club meets several times a year before the senior club meetings and includes fishing workshops to help junior members improve their angling skills. Tournaments for the junior club are determined by the number of members and those interested. Junior clubs members are also encouraged to participate in some senior club activities such as the festivals and banquet. B.A.S.S. Casting Kids
The Miami Valley Bassmasters participate in the Casting Kids program from B.A.S.S. This program helps introduce young anglers to bass fishing by having them compete in a casting contest.
